Your Images Are Never Uploaded
PNGtoSVG converts images entirely inside your browser using the Canvas API and a background Web Worker. The PNG file you select is read, traced, and turned into an SVG on your own device — it is never sent to our servers or any third party, and we have no ability to see, store, or access the images you convert.
No Account Required
You don't need to create an account or provide an email address to use the converter, so we don't collect any personal information as part of the conversion process itself.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics (such as anonymized page-view counts) to understand overall traffic and improve the site. This data does not identify you individually, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell data to advertisers.
Cookies
We use a single local storage entry in your browser to remember your light/dark theme preference. This stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.
Children's Privacy
PNGtoSVG does not knowingly collect personal information from children, since the tool does not collect personal information from any user in the first place.
Changes to This Policy
If our data practices change, we'll update this page with a new "last updated" date. Since conversion happens entirely in your browser, we don't expect this policy to change often.
